The head of the CQC-T is precision machined from a billet of 4140. The handle is precision molded in a gas-assisted process from a modified nylon material.  The gas distributes the molten nylon throughout the mold to eliminate air and increase density.  The handle has Herculean strength as a result. The CQC-T can be thrown and will easily endure the abuse that occurs during throwing sessions.  However, the handle was designed for RETENTION.  If you want to throw your CQC-T, you’ll have to modify your ordinary grip to allow the rings to pass by your fingers upon release...let it slip from your hand like its hot and you should be in good shape. $232.00
